INTRODUCTION
Akkhor Bangla School is a collaborative effort by Bangladeshi individuals residing in the USA to provide instruction in the Bengali language. Our objective is to teach our next generation about our heritage and rich international mother language "Bangla" and to introduce the Bangladeshi cultural roots to the next generation and to familiarize Bangla as a second language of communication for them. This school is conducted every summer with twelve classes.
Though from 2020 Akkhor went virtual & conducted its summer session with twelve classes through online platforms and also a monthly review class on third Saturdays during school year.
Akkhor has been recognized globally as a Bangla Language Learning School and so students and teachers across the world are participating and managing its associated academic and different other activities

WHY ITS IMPORTANT?
Knowing own heritage is important as the world is becoming more and more culturally diverse. In the workplace or the surrounding if someone needs to deal with people from different cultural background, they need to know their own culture to be aware how people can be different but work together towards a unique goal
HOW AKKHOR HELPS!
Akkhor Bangla language learning program which is now provided both physically and on online platforms, is a combined initiative by Bangladeshi resident in the USA to teach Bangla language which had originated only as a summer Bangla school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2015.
Akkhor aims to teach our next generation Bengali in a proper manner so that they can know or understand their roots easily and can feel the depth of its enriched and glorified history and cultural diversity
